Meet the Artist at Brandy's Restaurant
It was a fun afternoon at Brandy's Restaurant during "Meet the Artist"! I had a chance to share my watercolors with so many friends and my sister, Janis, was even able to join us. Brandy served her mini mimosas and some yummy cookies. My show will continue until July 30th.

"AZ Remembers 9/11, Tempe Beach Park"
"Arizona Remembers 9/11, Tempe Beach Park" (image 11x16)
This painting is now being shown at Brandy's Restaurant in Flagstaff with a little narrative explaining the setting. It was up for one day only, September 11, 2011, on the 10th anniversary of the attack. There was a flag with a placard for each life lost - a symbolic reminder to all of us of the loss to America on that day. My husband, John, was in the Valley and took photos for me so that I was able to paint this watercolor. (It is available in giclée prints.)

Thanks to Brandy and her wonderful staff, my show is up and ready to see while you enjoy some yummy food! We hung 30 framed pieces, many just painted for this show, and several mini originals and ceramic tiles. There will be some changes in the art over the next few weeks, so check back here and at Brandy's to see what's new!

the Noise - Arts & News...
The June issue of the Noise is out this weekend! Publisher Charles Severeid has created a beautiful ad for my show at Brandy's! Pick up an issue and see the article by Clair Anna Rose about my plans for the show! It opens June 5th, in Flagstaff (directions on their website www.BrandysRestaurant.com) so my brushes will be working overtime this week. So will my matter and framer, husband, John!

Tomato Bonanza!

After a visit to the Farmer's Market a week ago, I arranged my beautiful heirloom tomatoes into a still life set up for a new painting. "Tomato Bonanza" is the result! Do you have a special spot for this in your kitchen/dining room? You can see it soon at Brandy's Restaurant.

Brandy's Restaurant Presents...

The backdrop for the poster above is my watercolor, "Eagle's View of Verde Valley", with the Verde Valley train out of Clarkdale/Cottonwood- another one of Arizona's gems. You'll just have to schedule a visit to see the other paintings that I have planned for the show!

Brandy's Show
for your table or mantel or you can hang them on the wall!
They are beautifully crafted by my husband, John,
and varnished for an archive finish.
Here we are relaxing after hanging 40 pieces of art. (That's Brandy for those of you who have not met her.) The show looks wonderful, thanks to all the staff who helped us. I hope that many of you will have a chance to stop by for a bite to eat and see the variety of new work that I have done, just for this show! The boxes above were finished just in the nick of time!
